I have been on a sock kick, all socks all the time. I have already completed 4 pairs and I should finish my 5 pair tonight. Here are what I have completed this year.
The first is the Sunday Swing Socks from Knitty in Oceanwind Knits Merino in the color "Blu". I know this yarn was one of the The Loopy Ewe sock of the month club yarns but I really don't remember which month it was from.

The next sock is the Roger sock from Anne Hanson. The color is Oasis from Tempted Yarns 3am club. The yarn is Lil' Luxe Girl and I have to tell you this yarn is YUMMY to work with. This is my first year in the club and I am have to wonder why I didn't sign up before. Never mind the 2 other sock clubs that I'm in. Yes, this make 3 sock clubs this year. Please don't tell my husband.

The other 2 finish's are both yarns from The Rockin' Sock club from Blue Moon. This is my 4 year in the club and I love it. The first sock is Cascadia in the colorway "Happy Go Lucky". This is the Jan 2010 shipment.

The other sock is the Cleopatra sock from the May 2008 club shipment.

Upside down Squash

Yesterday was Geno's 41st Birthday. He is officially once again older than me for the next 9 months. We went out to the Fish House and today he left to go fishing for the next 5 days on the "Guy Trip". He has a group of friends from High School that get together every 2 years and this time they will be fishing on the White River in Arkansas. Have Fun honey, I am going to enjoy a quiet weekend of spinning my CJ Kopec Creations June Spin along and work on the Mystic Air KAL. It is nice to not be going at 120% for one weekend. I have 3 "chic" movies from Netflix so I am good to go.

I haven't done any picture updates for a while and I have been neglecting my blog. My goal this month is to update at least 3 times a week. Here is a picture of my squash plant in the Tomato Tree. This was a test because we have issues with Squash bugs so I thought I would see how the squash does in hanging in the air.

I also took some other pictures today so I can use them during the week.

Found some photos

I really hate having my picture taken. I like to think they are snuggly warm but really it is hard to think that they are warm when it below freezing outside. Ooohh well, I will just live in my happy go lucky world.

I drove to work and the snow started getting worse so I decided to go home because I live on top of the local mountain (if you want to believe that 1100 ft is a mountain). When I stated to climb my front wheel drive car started to slide off the road. Luckily dear husband came down and was able to drive it up the hill for me. I got to follow in his 4wd Jeep Wrangler. I am such a big chicken when it comes to driving in the snow. Everyone at work likes to tease me and tell me my problem is that I'm a California girl where we didn't snow. Hey I grew up visiting the snow for the day.

Unoriginal Hat

Well I got the yarn and I what a quick knit this one was. I love the color. It went fast when I had time to knit. I can't wait for MS4. I did do the symmetrical finish and skipped the wing. While I loved the look of the wing, I knew I would prefer the ends to be the same. I was actually happy that I was behind everyone else because it made making this decision so much easier.

Here is a picture of the join.

Ravelry and MS3

I'm on Ravelry. I grew up in the army. We moved 28 times by the time I was 16. I went to so many schools, it's not funny. One year, I went to 4 different schools in the same school year.

2. I met my husband at high school graduation practice. He sat next to me since both of our last names started with the same letter.

3. I hate to drive. I don't like to drive anywhere. Given the choice I would rather be the passenger in the car.

4. I had eplipesy. It started when I was 19 and lasted until I was 33. I had hormonal seizures and surgery fixed it.

5. #4 leads up to this one. I had a serious of seizures when I was 25 that caused me to lose most of my memory. This has been strange for me. I know the words to songs but can remember going to the prom. I know my husband but can remember getting married (thankfully there is a video).

6. I dropped out of college, thanks to #4. I went back at 27 and at the age of 29 graduated with honors.

7. #5 made it impossible to have children. Which is my greatest regret in life. I love kids. If you know me in person, you know that I babysit for everyone that kids love me.

Update

Here is a picture of our new puppy, Maggie. The concrete was poured on Tuesday and of course it is suppose to rain the rest of the week. Hopefully in about 15 weeks, I will have a new home and will be moving.

Also on Monday my furniture finally arrived. It took the movers almost 4 weeks to get it to us. This has been a nightmare. The movers lied and lied, then they delivered to 2 families before us. They also picked up 2 other families households before they came to us. They are suppose to make their deliveries and then do their pick ups but they didn't.

Also look arrived it is my scarf from my scarf exchange partner. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is a made out of Rowanspun and in a wonderful deep dark red with flecks of colors throughout. Susan, you did the best job. Thank you. My husband didn't understand that it is a scarf that and thought it was strange until I showed him how it works. Then he was saying "that is cool". I hope to fine a pattern for this so I can make some more.

1.
